FLINT ART FAIR 2022
EVENT BRANDING • CREATIVE DIRECTION & PRODUCTION

THE GOAL
To create an updated identity and marketing package for a long running annual event, celebrating it's 55th year and it's return after a multi-year gap due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

THE PROCESS
I was tasked with forming and managing a production team for this project, with myself acting as the lead for creative direction & production from ideation to delivery.
I worked closely with the Friends of Modern Art (Hosts of the event) to develop a new visual identity that revamped the existing logo and color palette in addition to a consistent theme for all promotional materials.

THE RESULT
We provided the event with a comprehensive and consistent identity with the existing logo brought into the third dimension, with an abstraction to represent all forms of "art". We came to this final result in an attempt to generalize such a broad subject matter with a single representation. The color palette was transformed into a spectrum or gradient to be used consistently throughout.
The deliverables that were produced included print & digital assets such as posters, social posts, brochures, mailers, looping videos for displays within the FIA, as well as merchandise (posters, t-shirts).

I also provided my services as a photography during the 2-day event.
